In 2013, I met my wife, Maria, during a Buddhist retreat in Spain. Sharing a passion for understanding the human experience, we soon traveled to Nepal and India to pursue our Bachelor's degrees in Buddhist Studies. Maria, from Russia, and I, from Canada, immersed ourselves in diverse cultures and philosophies.
After completing our studies in 2016, we moved to Canada with plans to begin a Master's degrees in Buddhism. However, our desire to start a family led us back to Düsseldorf, where I had previously lived from 2007 to 2013. In 2019, we welcomed our twins.
This year, we embraced a new chapter by moving to a small town surrounded by fields, forests, and lakes. We chose this tranquil environment to connect more deeply with nature and provide our children with a nurturing space to grow up, immersed in the outdoors. The peace and slower pace of the countryside resonate with our values and how we wish to live.
